  • Brushing and flossing twice a day is medically advised. It takes care of most mouth related problems, such as bad breath and tooth decay, keeping your mouth clean and germ free.
  • Regular trimming of hair and nails is a must. A sign of good grooming, well kept hair and nails is essential to maintain hygiene. Dandruff and lice free hair ups your personality several notches. Trimming finger and toe-nails helps avoid a lot of dirt-accumulation, also giving you a tidy look.

  • Never forget to wash hands with soap before and after meals. In case of unavailability if soap or water, hand sanitizers are a good substitute. Always cover your nose and mouth while sneezing and coughing. Remember, a lot of your habits affect the health of those around you.
  • Your genitals are yours to take care of. Most genital infections sprout from improper hygiene and lack of cleanliness. Follow toilet etiquette, use water on every visit to the loo. While bathing, wash out all soap from the genitals carefully, and always keep your genitals dry to prevent itching or rashes. Sanitary napkins or tampons must be changed every 4-8 hours to avoid infection.
  • Hair removal is a must. Shave or wax pubic hair and arm-pit hair to maintain cleanliness, avoid sweating and bacterial infections. Do not share your toiletries.   • Always cook and store your vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods separately.
  • Food should be stored at a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius.

  • The meat, vegetables, fruits etc that are to be consumed must be thoroughly washed to remove dirt.
